Today we're launching the biggest update to Loyal Customer yet: version 2.0. The headline feature is a brand-new way to reward your customers — digital stamp cards — alongside a completely revamped, guided onboarding.
Here's everything that's new.
Two ways to reward. One wallet.
Until now, Loyal Customer ran on a points model: customers earned points based on how much they spent. Points are powerful — but they aren't the right fit for every business. Sometimes the simplest thing is the best thing: buy nine coffees, get the tenth free.
So we built it. Every business now chooses one program type during setup:
- Points — flexible and spend-based. Earn points per dollar, or with custom spend tiers. Great for retail, grocery, and restaurants.
- Stamp cards — simple and familiar. Collect a stamp each visit and earn a reward when the card is full. Perfect for cafes, salons, and gyms.
Either way, the loyalty card lives in your customer's Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and updates automatically as they earn.
How stamp cards work
- Set a target between 3 and 10 stamps
- Pick your stamp icon: star, coffee, gift, check, or heart
- Give one stamp per checkout — the card design shows the whole grid filling up
- When it's full, redeem the completed card for the reward you defined
No more paper cards getting lost at the bottom of a bag.
A new, guided onboarding
Setting up a loyalty program should feel effortless. Onboarding is now a guided, gamified three-stage journey:
- Register your business — search for your business or enter the details manually.
- Build your loyalty program — a short setup even recommends whether points or stamps fit your business best, then helps you design your wallet card and preview it.
- Publish your customer page — get a branded join page and a QR code to share.
Your progress is saved as you go, so you can stop midway, switch devices, and pick up right where you left off.
